The employees here were all very nice and super helpful, but materials are really overpriced compared to Home Depot or Mr. Plywood down the street. Maybe it was just the stuff I was looking for, but I priced out 10+ different kinds of lumber and all of it was quite bit higher.

lots of cigarette smoking going on in the yard when you get your materials. I was surprised to find this in a lumber yard.  Must have great insurance.

The crew at Milwaukie Lumber seems to cater to the one and two item homeowner purchases, and was put off in my purchase of bulk items on a weekend, which suprised me. I should give them another chance, but the attitude just is not worth it for the amount of money I spent on a slow weekend afternoon.
