Story

Shaba is the Thai word for hibiscus, the tropical flower. Shabu in Japanese translates to swish, which refers to the creative way of preparing raw beef and seafood at the table.
Prepared by owner and chef. The featured entrees, appetizers and salads are full of flavor utilizing many rich herbs and spices. The Thai meal is a harmonious blend of the spicy, the subtle, the sweet and sour and is equally satisfying to eye, nose and palate. It is served in a warm cozy atmosphere surrounded by authentic Thai details and furnishings.

The Manager did not accommodate our large party. My family member's birthday was a disaster. The manager threatened to call 911 because he put the entire table's order on one ticket and would NOT split the ticket for our party, when we were paying separately for our BOGO sushi. Our total bill for the table was $220 and the waitress hand wrote her own gratuity on the ticket of $55. We wanted to split the bill 4 ways as we had a party of 12 and 4 separate checks. Since we sat in the private room with 4 tables pushed together, the manager made us pay on one bill or threatened to call 911 and told us if he split the bill, he would charge us full price for everything and the BOGO would NOT be honored. There was only one waitress to our entire party and the food took up to an hour to be served and one of our party did not get his sushi until 10 minutes before we left when he had to ask three times for it. We will never come back here to dine again! Our party included a firefighter, a RN, Computer Engineer, Government, Real Estate Agent, Business Owner, Model, etc. So paying the bill was no problem at all and would have benefited the waitress even more so, had the bill been split 4 ways. Terrible experience, we will take our money somewhere else.

My first time eating here and it was vey good. Rodney my waiter was the best he helped me to pick my meal. Never been there before but I will be back!

First time going there and it was delicious. We went on lunch and got lunch special and bogo sushi. We can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu options. We had wonderful service and look forward to returning!

First time here and pretty good. Our server was nice and everything. The sushi was good and came out fast. The other food a lil slower but good overall. We'll be back at some point.

Great food, great service, great price! Enjoy this place every time I go. It's a quiet Japanese Thai fusion. The currys are excellent and sushi too. Great place for a quiet date night
