Story

White Street Brewing Company, Inc. is proud to be the first brewery in Wake Forest. Recipes for hand-crafted, small batch ales and lagers are already being generated. The taste assortment include a hoppy IPA, a kolsch, a belgian blond and a scottish ale.

White Street Brewing Co. is excited to be in historic downtown Wake Forest. We're really passionate about great beer, and we LOVE to share our discoveries. We look forward to becoming the favorite gathering place for beer lovers! Whether you're looking for a place to grab a beer with friends, wanting to try a sampling (flight tastings) of beers or wanting to pick up or refill a growler, we'll be here for you!

HISTORY.
White Street Brewing Company opened its doors to the historic town of Wake Forest in September 2012. Built into a 1930s car dealership, it was conceived as a gathering place for the community during the town’s renaissance.

Owner and founder Dino Radosta meticulously stripped away the building’s façade in order to uncover and restore the century-old structure’s original character. The result is a unique taproom with exposed brick, exposed beams, and an exposed brew house. No glass walls separate you from experiencing the sights and sounds of the action.

The same values are present in every White Street beer; there are no gimmicks or distracting façades, just honest flavors that have nothing to hide. Each sip is the result of true craftsmanship, reviving the era when things were done right the first time, every time.

The unprecedented demand for our high caliber brews has since led to the completion of a state-of-the-art production facility just a few miles away from White Street’s birthplace. Every piece of the custom brew house was selected to ensure that the dependable, familiar tastes of each recipe remain true. It wasn't easy - but nothing worth doing ever is.

The original brew house is still in operation at the taproom location and now serves as a playground for the world-class brewers. Here they experiment with techniques and flavors that can’t be achieved in a large-scale production capacity. These limited release creations are often found only on draught in the taproom.

White Street Brewing Company focuses on authentic, classically styled beers. Each batch is expertly crafted with knowledge built on centuries of traditions. It's rewarding to know that when you drink anything from White Street, you are tasting the exemplary flavors of the beer as they were intended. You want to know what a Kölsch is supposed to taste like? Or a stout? Or an IPA? Then first taste ours.

Each of the flagship beers represented in the Main Street Series requires unique ingredients, brewing techniques specific to each style, and separate yeast strains that must be properly cultivated; all necessary to create a beer that is the perfect example of how that style is supposed to taste and, most importantly, that the beer tastes incredible. It’s definitely not the easy way to do things but it absolutely is the right way. Authentic describes more than how we make our beer; it is the mindset and philosophy with which we approach every aspect of the company. We work hard so that whenever you see anything from White Street Brewing Co. you can trust that it will always be better than "good enough."
