Nice out of the way park, popular boat launch. Nice, different playground structure, very big pavilion & fairly flat green space. Big downside is the beach/non-boat water access. Beach area is a steep walk or drive to get to & extremely rocky with hard packed sand, not conducive to laying on a towl, bring a chair. NOTE: the water is a no-swim zone.

Beautiful big playground for the kids, lots and lots of picnic room. I think you can rent out the picnic areas. They also have a nice little beach. You can't swim there but you can drop in your boat. My daughter loves walking out on the docks and looking at the water.

My family LOVES this beach. Shallow waters for small kids to play with no worries. Sandy beach and sea shells to collect 😍. Great place to build memories

Lovely little beach about a quarter mile long tucked away under the bluffs. The park includes a play ground, bathrooms and about a mile long hiking trail over looking the beach and lake. Also has a boat launch. I enjoy it as a less touristy alternative to Presque Isle.

Large grassy area to chase your kids, play frisbee, throw a football or baseball back and forth. 
Nice playground area for children if all ages. Several trails for walking and nature observation.
Lake access for boats as well as walking among shore, fishing, and watching sunsets.
Small grills and a smaller pavilion that can be used on 1st come 1st serve basis. 
Larger pavilion available for larger gatherings but require being rented out to use for such activities.
