My friend and I drove across country, from California to Minnesota. Stopping at KOA's along the way. We discovered Shadow Mountain RV Park by accident and we are so impressed with the staff, (Thank you Darlene) the cabins, the amenities....that we stayed an extra night! The beds were super comfortable! It was so nice not needing to unpack our linens, they supplied bed linens and towels. The bathrooms were super clean!!! The pond is BEAUTIFUL, we wished we could have stayed longer, fishing would have been fun! We highly recommend Shadow Mountain RV Park!! We will be returning!

I would not recommend. Me and my family rented their bungalow which was a mobile home. It was hot and the ac did not work as it should. We stayed for 4 nigts and it wad pricey. Nowhere on the website does it say that ANY VISITORS staying longer than 20min will have to pay $5 per person and must be put of the grounds by 6pm. So when we had family stop by it got even more expensive. The bed were not very comfortable as well. Again would NO recommend to anybody.

We visited Shadow Mountain on 3/17 for one night and stayed in one of the small cabins. The place was nice and we had no issues. The be was a queen size and a twin in the corner. The queen was all we used and was a stiff bed and I prefer soft other wise I slept okay. The bathrooms were just a short walk maybe 25 yards from the furtherest cabin. The bathrooms/showers were clean and didn't have a problem. The grounds looked well taken care of and if back in the same area would stay again.

Very clean. We stayed in a cabin 3-17-17. The cabin had one queen size bed and also twin bed in opposite corner. Bed was firm like any motel I've stayed at. The room was very clean and bed sheets clean and fresh. The cabin we stayed in was close to rest rooms, hey its a cabin it did not have bathroom in it. The rest rooms were very clean, floor, sink, vanity tops all clean. This is an older park but very well maintained. Owners very nice and helpful. When we checked out the lady was pulling sheets off our beds to be washed. I will be back and encourage my friends to stay here.

Great campground with pool, wifi, cable and country beauty. Sites aren't perfectly level but I got my tt level without any issue. Friendly management. Clean restrooms. Wifi is spotty but functional in most sites. Cable is at most sites though the signal is a little weak on a few stations. Beautiful catch and release lake. Monthly rent is $375 including up to $75 in electric. Only real issue is highway noise, but at night with ac running it isn't an issue. Definitely would stay here again.
