Used to be fantastic but I feel quality and consistency dropped over the last year. Adjoining hot pot place is awesome tho. Recommend the spicy crispy chicken.

I have been going to Shanghai Best for the last few years. The Shanghai food is pretty good but sometimes it ends up being saltier than I would like. It's also a bit pricey for Chinese Food, but at least it is overall authentic versus other places in Jersey City.

This one star is for the delivery not the food. I ordered a soup dish and some others. After I tipped the delivery guy generously I found the soup was missing. So I called this place and asked for a redelivery. It wasn't a big deal until another delivery guy showed up to my door 30 mins later, and claimed "let me get things straight, this is very unlikely to happen - you are not listening - we didn't find an extra soup in the kitchen" and then left without single apology. What a low life.

Greatly disappointed. The egg rolls were horrible, there was hardly any meat in my fried rice (and I ordered $3 chicken), they didn't put soy sauce in the bag and forgot my receipt. I will not order again, and I will not recommend.

Soup dumplings and fried rice were not bad. I’ll never order their Mapotofu and Hotpot because too much oil.
