Story

Shaviq is a gallery filled with the works of 80 South Dakota artists, and is a working studio space for 2 artists, myself, Shawn Wilson, and Lalenia Siefert.
The gallery welcomes many art forms including trash art, authors and musicians. Artists are a passionate expressive bunch, so it seemed fitting to offer vintage attire, shoes and jewelry as well. With a personal love of things old and dusty, I also have a small selection of antiques.

Mission

Make the gallery a positive encouraging place to be, love on others along the way, all while producing beautiful affordable works of art and jewelry.
Collectively, we strive to re-purpose other materials in our work, adding a great twist and an environment consciousness.

Products

If you're looking for the unusual, the unique, a conversation piece, please stop by the gallery! Our work isn't simple or boring! For instance, bullet shell wind chimes to garbage can chairs are some of the unique items you'll find. In the jewelry, we take the natural gemstone and add vintage jewelry pieces and recycled wire as well as army surplus hardware.
