It's a decent place to shop at for certain items. Many of the workers are helpful and kind. However, on several occassions I've witnessed one of the grocery department managers (named Harmony) treat the employees in the department very, very poorly. In front of customers, even! She's very rude to them, and I know one of the workers personally and he always mentions that he's miserable there. If he mentions how poorly they're treated by her, he gets a talking to and is told to suck it up--nobody talks to her about it, nobody tells her to treat them with respect, nothing. Not to mention I always see her pawn off her work onto the others and wander around the store and stuff. She also likes to tell super busy workers to do something for her when she's clearly doing nothing and could do it herself. She also seems to wander into different departments (once I've seen her go to check out to "help out a customer" even though they already had a manager and CSR helping out that customer. She stood there leaning back on a counter doing basically nothing while everyone else in her department worked hard. She treats them with no respect and acts like they don't do any work at all. She also isn't the best worker to go to for help. Most of the employees there are very kind and sweet, but she seems annoyed if you ask her for help or something, and is clearly unhappy in the process. Definitely would not support a business that treats their employees poorly. Especially one that knows there is a problem but does nothing about it.

Decent prices on most items. Big bunnys meat department is better. I do have a serious complaint though. The bathrooms smell horrendously bad. Seriously, I almost heave just going in there to pee. You really need to remodel the bathrooms and upgrade your septic service. It's awful, 💩 and cost you 2 stars on this review. So gor my review you get three ⭐️ and 💩 💩 💩 💩 4 poops

As a 32 year old man I'd like to say that I've shopped at many grocery stores. I've also never written a review about anything before. The Sturbridge Shaws is a complete waste of time. Literally. After living in Sturbridge for three years I've shopped this location often and not once have I been able to leave a checkout line in under 20 minutes. Now it would be one thing if this was due to a crowded grocery store. It's never crowded. Out of 13 Lanes only two are open at any given time. I am all for high school kids having jobs instead of robots however I will gladly go to Stop and Shop and use their robots from now moving forward.
