College can be one of the vehicle's for determining your success in life.  It won't satisfy all of your needs but the experience of exchanging ideas with other students should be exciting.  No college is perfect.  Try and look at the positives that Shaw can offer like the ability to access school administrators and the opportunity to become a class officer & present innovative ideas.  I've studied in large institutions where there were as many 300 students in a lecture hall and you're nothing more than a number.  I would suggest that you stay at Shaw University and make something great out of yourself and your school.

I have had the honor to attend two HBCU's and two majority schools and my experience at Shaw was the best of a lifetime. I was fortunate enough to attend at a time where it was simply magical. The students were warm in conversations and caring of each other. The faculty and staff cared and the atsmosphere was like family. Truly a highlight in my life with lifelong friends.
