This was absolutely one of the best meals of my life. Their hummus is out of this world, and I have to recommend selecting more than one. The curried cauliflower hummus and short rib hummus were phenomenal. I think we would have licked the plates clean if it was socially acceptable. Their cocktails are also some of the best I've had - perfectly balanced in every way. We tried three different drinks, and not one of them disappointed!

Phenomenal - this restaurant won the James Beard award for best new restaurant, and deservedly so. For obvious reasons, reservations are pretty much a necessity around dinner time and they fill up quickly. There's an outdoor courtyard and the indoor area has a very clean, classy, but not overly formal feel. There is also bar seating available (full service) at a fist-come, first-served basis. There were only 2 of us so we didn't have a problem getting bar seating since we arrived around 4:30 on a Sunday. Food was excellent and they make fresh pita bread in a brick/stone oven that's visible to guests. All of the bartender's recommendations and descriptions were spot-on and all dishes were prepared perfectly. We will definitely be returning.

We held our rehearsal dinner here in their upstairs private dining space. It was perfect for our 40 guests. Food, incredible. Everyone was looking to make reservations to go back after our dinner so they could try more of the menu. 5 stars.

The food was exceptionally well made, especially the hummus. However, the poor service ruined the meal quite quickly. To be fair, we were seated at the bar which may have made some difference. I would strongly recommend either making a reservation and hoping for better service or finding a different place to eat.

Really good hummus (try the one with cauliflower on top) and amazing, freshly-baked, hot puffy pita bread. Love the pickled vegetables and Israeli salad, too. Best with a larger group so you can share around several of their different small plates.
