Story

Reverend Robert Earl, pastor of Shekinah Glory Worship Center, is a native of Buffalo, NY, and graduate of Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School. He has labored in God’s Vineyard for many years, empowering God’s people with the knowledge of who they are in Christ through preaching and teaching the uncompromised Word of God. After serving faithfully for several years as Associate Minister at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Adolph Roberts, Reverend Earl stepped out in faith on July 13, 2014 with his wife and family to found the church, Shekinah Glory Worship Center in Harlem, NY.

Shekinah Glory is located inside the Wadleigh HS auditorium at 215 West 114th Street. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we strive to provide a worship experience that is exciting, and contemporary. Praise and worship is important to the ministry because when you are going through challenges, and the variableness of life, God's Word teaches that us that He "inhabits the praises of His people." As the praises go up, the blessings of healing, deliverance, and victory come down upon the people of God.

Not only is dynamic worship important to the ministry, but learning to walk by faith and not by sight is also a critical. Preaching and teaching a message of empowerment and victory is the cornerstone of our church’s message. We are taught who we are so that we can be all that God intended. We believe that only an empowered and enlightened people, transformed by the Word of God, can reclaim and rebuild New York City for the kingdom of God.
