Before I write anything, I just have to say that I've been trying really hard these past few months NOT to leave this review, being a long-time loyal Shelby's customer; but I've honestly reached my wit's end.
I have no idea what happened with the service here.
Especially with orders made to-go (over the phone or delivery).
1. There seems to be an issue with portion-control....if you order a Large or X-large (salad, for ex.), be prepared to be very disappointed. A Large usually looks like a small/medium; X-large looks like a medium-large. They have a problem with filling their boxes for some reason. You pay $12-$15+ for a salad, only to have it looking like a $7 salad; hardly ever filling. I even asked friends around me to affirm this, and that I wasn't crazy; they flat-out told me they wouldn't pay that kind of money for what they saw.
2. There seems to be a greater issue with focus: orders are either missing items, incomplete, or incorrect. Just now ordered a large Shelby's Salad (pita chips on the side--the only thing right with the whole order) for pick-up. I've already mentioned the portion issue above...a quarter of the box was full. There was no hummus, no garlic...I had asked for hot sauce on the side....not there.
We've spoken to them several times about our concerns.
I have no idea what's been happening; I want the old Shelby's back.
I'm honestly giving them that second star because the food is still pretty good, and not as disastrous when you eat-in.

Food has been great lately, and pick-up orders haven't been a disaster.

We've ordered a few times and it's been pretty good, but the last time we ordered it left a REALLY bad taste in our mouths.  We have a 2 year old who hard refuses to eat spicy, and my wife doesn't appreciate spice either.  We specifically made mention in our online order "Do not include anything spicy".  When it arrived it had spicy garlic sauce on it.  We gave them a call, they argued with us that "nobody complains about that sauce", finally conceding that they'd give us a call back to remedy the situation.  They never called us back.  Some customer service would've been nice, and not telling us "no customer complains about this sauce you're literally complaining about".   I'm willing to change this to a 5 star if they remedy the situation, as we appreciate their food and usually have no issues with the staff, but without any contact, they've lost a customer.

Not coming from a customer, but a delivery driver.
This is probably THE slowest 'Express Food' you could ever order. The food is almost never ready on time, I have had to wait a minimum of 20 minutes per pickup, even if it takes me more than 15 minutes to arrive after the order is 'started'.
The staff are polite so long as you are, but once you ask 'how much longer' they have no interest in speaking with you unless it is to hand you the order.

But, I have only heard good things about the food, so kudos to them for that.

The best shawarma place in London.  Clean and family friendly restaurant with reasonably priced great tasting food. Customer service was not bad either.  

While there we found out that they have a contest. If you can finish the big shawarma (photo) in 15 minutes then its free and someone did attempt it unsuccessfully.  

Definitely recommended. Will return.

Very good. Huge portions. A little too heavy on some of the sauces. Overall great. Hope you don't mind the smell of garlic because your breath will smell all day. Worth it though.
