This Shell gas station seems to have some of the highest prices in the area, which they might justify to themselves because they are in Rochester Hills on a main thoroughfare. This is unacceptable. Furthermore, the appearance of the place is sort of shabby and in need of a complete makeover to get it out of the 1990's, especially considering all of the brand new businesses being built all around it. Do yourself a favor and get your gas cheaper at a nicer looking facility right across the street at Speedway.

I've used them three times and every time they do a more than honest work. For example, they charged me only $1.95 for a oil plug that took the mechanic 1/2 hour to pick up. I was expecting and willing to pay for his time but no charge. I also like that they explain and show me what and why they are doing what they are doing it. You don't have to take their word for it.

It's a small shop. I didn't even notice it at first. After spending most of my Saturday morning hopping from one oil change place to another in the hopes that somebody would be able to fit me in, this place caught my eye. They estimated about $28, but I got mine done on discount for about $24. This place was like my savior in more ways than one. I was in dire need of getting my break pads replaced. Vic, the mechanic there noticed that my breaks and routers needed to be changed, and in about an hour he ordered replacements and fixed it all right there on the spot! At a reasonable price too. Way better service than I ever could have expected from a Shell service station! I've been to Bell Tire, Tuffy, and every time I've been there they make me wait several hours, even just for a simple oil change.
