Mom, a career Montessori teacher certified by the American Montessori Institute in Washington DC, established Sheridan Montessori School in 1986. She designed and created a lot of the materials herself. I helped her as a teacher and in an administrative/managerial capacity for three years. Mom was the best teacher I have ever come across, and learned so much from her.
