Story

Shining Mountain Herbs, Southwest Colorado’s premier manufacturer of artfully handcrafted certified organic herbal products is located at the base of the majestic San Juan Mountains. Our vision is to sustainably grow highest quality medicinal herbs that are endangered or threatened in the wild. We do this in ways that are in harmony with the earth and the plants' to insure that the plants grown have the highest concentration of medicinal properties. These practices have evolved to include plants whose growing popularity demands increased cultivation to ensure the continued vitality of wild stands.

We formulate herbal products such as tinctures, salves, oils and liniments, to provide optimal health and well being to our clients. Our herbs are hand cultivated, harvested at their peak for maximum potency and processed on site. They are are never fumigated, genetically modified or irradiated. About 80 percent of herbs used in our products are grown on our property.
