My husband and I dine often at the Ship Inn. The service is always perfect. We adore the ambiance of this place! It's very historic. The food is always amazing too! We come here for date night, special occasions, and we've also had our business luncheon here. It's just a beautiful place. It's a neighborhood gem and should be cherished as such. Get to know the history of this building while you are there. Steak Diane is always a favorite of ours as is the Veal Zurich. Make sure you get dessert too! Their homemade desserts are one of a kind!

A disappointing experience at one of my historically favorite places. Slow to be seated and then our order was apparently lost . when we were served it tasted like the food had been hastily prepared. Sad to say that I will not return. Had a delightful dining experience several days ago at the Thorndale Inn

We only had drinks, but the staff was very friendly and social. Would recommend stopping by.

Let me start by saying the food was good. But the portions were small for the price. Left hungry. However the part that stands out the most was the service. Or lack there of. Our waiter seemed as if he would rather not be waiting on our table. Perhaps he doesn't like kids. But it was only after other people were seated in our section and we had already ordered did we happen to overhear that they had specials. For the price and lack of service next time we want seafood we will go to Legal Seafood.
