I have rented several commercial spaces over the years. Normally I have had a bad relationship with landlords because of various reasons in sure any business owner would agree with. Shipman Companies has by far been the greatest landlord I have ever had for commercial space. Very attentive to my needs as a renter. David & Melissa have always been a pleasure to do business with and have also supported my business for their own needs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for residential or commercial space. Thanks guys for always taking care of me. :-)

I don't know about any of the other business they do, but they could benefit from better organization of their rentals, both on the website end and with the staff. The staff is friendly and try to be helpful, but they don't take the properties off the website or the signs out of the yards, so any time you call, they have no idea what you're talking about and say that the property has been leased. When I finally found one that wasn't and scheduled an appointment to go see the property, I showed up and they had somebody else there signing the lease! They were accommodating enough to offer to let me stay there in the A/C while somebody else was signing off on the house I thought I might be getting. It was an office miscommunication, but they didn't bother to call me and tell me not to come. This is so absolutely frustrating, because they have some pretty decent properties.

Shipman and companies are a fantastic company! I've had a great experience with them. They have always been very responsive to my maintenance needs if and when needed. Melissa is my property manager and I feel like she's a friend as well! I can't say enough great things about this amazing company!

Melissa was the BEST!!! I was living in a house and the landlord sold it. I had 30 days to find a new house. Melissa showed me one property, and it was great, but a little small for my family. Then showed me a second house. I loved it!! Melissa got the house ready for move in in just a matter of days. Me and my family are very happy with the house. Between Melissa and the friendly staff, I think I'll be with them for awhile.

David Shipman runs a very impressive company. He is intelligent and very capable of managing multiple projects at once. He has always made the time to clearly convey his needs, and in our line of business, the details  are essential for accuracy and expediency. I highly recommend Shipman Companies.
