This place has a smug atmosphere and I didn't feel welcome. There was plenty of staff around, but they just don't care much. My wife has also been here on other occasions to find my kids shoes and got the same impression. I really want to shop here, but the staff was not helpful or friendly

It's also worth noting that they don't carry many shoes in sizes over 12.

SP Shoe Palace - which looks like it should be in a Mall - moved into the quaint Temescal Biz district - with ugly big male paintings on the side of the building. Had a negative experience trying to buy shoes. Difficulty getting help from a clerk. When I finally did, I could barely speak to the clerk because of the LOUD intrusive music . . . . She could not find a single shoe to fit me . . . .  since they have no woman's shoes over size 9!!!!  And the shoes are NOT cheap!!!!!  Avoid this horrible store. They do NOT appreciate all customers - only some customers . . . . .

This Shoe Palace took over former space of Bank of The West. Safety boxes and walk-in safe is now used to display vintage Air Jordan's. Temescal area is being revitalize one shop at a time. Would be interesting to see what becomes of now that Mountain Mike's Pizza is about to take place. Workers are friendly and talkative always introducing me to newer models of shoes. It's clean and organized with small section for man, woman, and junior. Since today is their first day, they've a promo of buy a pair of shoes and get 20% off clothing. All I did was browse didn't get anything, but should I need a pair, it'll be first place to look up.
