This was a total waste of time.  It's a nice store, and if I had wanted to buy something that was actually in the store I might have had a different review.  But I needed a shoe that was not in stock, and they insisted that I pay for it up front on the promise that it would take a week or two to arrive.  A month later I had not heard from them, so I called.  They told me they could not get the shoe due to a problem with the manufacturer, and they didn't know why they hadn't contacted me.  To their credit, it was easy and fast for them to process my refund.

Great across the board! Very honest and professional! If your looking for great customer service and High quality foot care, this is where you need to go. I always recommend my family and friends here.

A few weeks back I purchased 3 pair of shoes at Shoes That Fit in Modesto.  I have worn the tennis shoes a few times only because I have recently undergone knee surgery.   I put the shoes on again a few days back as my recovery has allowed me to begin walking.  As I walk around the house I noticed the toe is stubbing.  Examining more closely we notice how much too long the shoes are.  They fold as I walk.  

My husband suggested we return to the store to show them the extra length which we did.  We spoke to David B. (who was not the person that sold us the shoes).  He was adamant those shoes were a perfect fit!  I put the shoes on, walked in them, and showed him how they each folded on the ends.  He told me they were too wide and he can fix that.  I explained to him the width was not the issue, it was the length.  He repeatedly told me "within his limitations he can only try to make the shoes narrower."  

I asked to try on the size smaller which he brought to me.  They fit great!  I showed him the difference - there was no crease, or fold whatsoever.  I showed him where my toe was when I stood.  He kept repeating I was sold the correct shoe even though it was very obvious the difference between both sizes. 
 
We are very disappointed with the customer service we received.  David was more focused on proving he was right than admitting the shoes are not the proper fit.  
I have a brand new pair of shoes that are too big and are unsafe to wear.  Our experience with David and his attitude of repeatedly telling us the shoes we were sold are perfect even though the smaller size confirmed the larger size is a misfit.    
 
Unfortunately his negative attitude and poor customer support we received will prevent us from continuing to be customers of this store.  The mission statement of this website as well as the name of the store are a "misfit" and misleading.
