This place was so fun!!! Plus they know about gluten free food and have special offerings that are gluten free. The chefs were very fun and entertaining. Our server was so nice. Everything was delicious!

The price for lunch went up from $4.99 to $5.99 but still a great price for what you get. I had egg drop soup, egg roll, broccoli, fried rice and General Tso's chicken. Everything was cooked well and tasted good. We will stop there again when we are in the neighborhood.

Been here several times and the food is always delectable. The sushi is made fresh to order and their soups and salads are made with fresh ingredients and a wonderful in house dressing. The waiters are friendly and the price is incredibly nice for what you get. Definitely my favorite sushi spot in the Peoria area.

Wonderful experience. We had a large party of fifteen and they were able to accommodate us with no issue. The table was ready when we arrived and our orders were taken almost right away. Service was fast and proactive (drinks were refilled before we needed to ask). The staff was very nice to us, the chefs at the hibachi were fun and funny. The food was cooked exactly how we all asked. 

One note, one of our guests decided to get the General Tso's chicken instead of eating off the grill. The chicken was great but hot. Usually the spice level of General Tso's chicken is a little spicy, a small kick. This was hot and unless you like your hot wings hot, I'd be wary. It was delicious and now I don't want that dish from anywhere else but my wife who normally likes that was unpleasantly surprised. So take that into account, when Shogun says hot they mean it.

While the food was good. They are getting a 1 start as they grouped individuals who we didn’t know with us making it a VERY AWAKWARD DINNER. Plus two of the grill areas where unclean and still had uncleared plates on them. A similar place ( had the same menu) I went to last week was way Better. I would HIGHLY AVOID THIS RESTURANT and head over to Hokkaido in Peoria off university street

Okay I changed it to two starts as the chef was entertaining. I’d still avoid this place

After speaking with rest of my team who was there, this place deserves a negative rating. Since that is not possible, I’ll default to 1 star so this review can be posted.
