I’ve always loved Shoney’s. Slim Jim sandwich is a classic and one of my favorite  sandwiches anywhere.  Their strawberry pie is delicious. You can get a whole pie to go. They have a new strawberry shortcake ice cream dessert that is also very good. The buffet could have more choices, but what’s there is good. This location had good service and was decently clean, but needs updating.

Breakfast is my favorite meal there. They have a buffet bar filled with meats, chicken strips for those of us who don't eat pork. The best french toast with grits and eggs. 
Lunch buffet is nice also.
Waitresses are always patient and very helpful. Quick on refills. No matter what you're drinking.
Didn't care for the price of their 🍊 juice but that is what I always want ..smiles.

One of the  three best buffets to go to in Lumberton. You can't leave without trying a slice of their strawberry pie. You're then deciding with the dilemma of buying a whole  strawberry  pie  to take home with you.

Service is either great or terrible depending on which waitress you get.  Last visit the waitress never came back for refills or to see if we needed anything.  They have one good waitess  Golden Coral is the same price and is MUCH better
