Great food. Barbecued ribs were excellent. Pulled pork with Eastern NC vinegar-based sauce was fantastic. Tasted like a pig picking. Fried catfish very good. Collards, boiled potatoes, mac-n-cheese, fried okra- all excellent. Full salad bar. Extremely friendly staff.

Poor service. We are a family of 3 and each of us received our meals at separate times. One person was finishing as the next person was receiving theirs. So we ate our family dinner one person at a time. The manager came up to us to ask how we were doing. I shared with him our experience so far and he just smiled and walked away to another table. He didn't even apologize. Too bad I can't give it less then 1 star. We won't be back.

Old southern charm might be the best way to describe this place. They have an all you can eat buffett. Really good beef tips and rice. They have a meeting room in the back for groups.

Tried to eat here; didn't happen. Waited over 10 minutes to be sat by a host. During that time, multiple servers walked past us. While sitting at the table, we waited 15 minutes and then left. During that time, 4 servers walked past us and not a single one stopped to even take a drink order. One of the servers threw silverware in a bin behind our booth so hard that it actually moved the seat of the booth. The restaurant itself was cute but I would never go back to this place strictly due to lack of service.

The atmosphere is very nice old rustic place the art work of the trains is really nice. The staff was decent nothing to really brag about. Now the food was OK they made the steak right the way it was cooked but absolutely no seasoning what so ever. Ribs were also cooked right bones pulled right out but again no real flavor. Salad bar was very nice. The bread at the beginning of the meal was absolutely the best part of our meal. It is worth another shot.
