While at Shoney's, we had great table service provided by a friendly waitress. The restaurant was clean, and so was the buffet area. They had many items to choose among that would be pleasing to meat lovers, those wanting "comfort food," and those, like myself, who wanted a great salad!

Shoney’s in Oxford, Alabama is a keeper. I am taking the time to say a special “Thank you” to Joyce, the manager; Chris, the cashier and all the staff that helped with our emergency situation. My father has been eating at this Shoney’s for years. It is one of the few places he will go because it’s clean, the food is good and the staff is friendly. Most recently, we wanted to honor a family with a home cooked meal. We decided on Shoney’s and it was the best decision made! We were a walk-in emergency situation, trying to figure it all out when Chris stated that he would get the manager to assist us. Joyce listened, told us not to worry, pulled together a fantastic meal and carefully packaged it so that nothing would spill in transport. The family was truly blessed by the meal but mostly by the story of how Joyce and her staff prepared it with the warmth and care they would show family. Thank you again, Joyce. Thanks, Chris and those who had a hand in the preparations.

Poor Quality of food on the food bar dried out temperatures not UP to standard. Food bar left unattended. Spill food beside bar the whole time I was there. Is the Health Department doing their job with a score of 95 I think not.

Horrible food. Management does not listen to their very knowledgeable staff. I will not return to this place even if I was about to starve to death.I would rrather just go on and die first.

Way over priced for the dried up contents they call food. The server was horrible and I had to walk up to the cashier for a check. While the staff was just hanging out in the hallway. I will not spend my money here again.
