Story

Since the 1930’s the Romano family has believed in giving back to the community. This belief has been passed down from generation to generation and is a core principle for the Corporation. It is reflected in RoNetco’s business practices, the outstanding customer service provided by all associates, as well as their purpose; to care deeply about people, helping them to eat well and be happy. With supermarkets in Netcong, Byram, Flanders, Newton, Mansfield, Succasunna and Franklin, RoNetco employs nearly 1,800 full and part-time associates.

Providing customers with safe, quality food that is delivered by a friendly and efficient team has always been at the heart of RoNetco’s operation.

It is clearly understood at RoNetco that “We are Partners in Caring for our neighbors’ families, homes and communities”. This tradition, shared by all RoNetco associates, is the business philosophy and is exemplified by the numerous events sponsored annually to raise awareness and improve the quality of living for residents served by RoNetco ShopRite Supermarkets.
