My "fresh" turkey was so frozen in the middle I could not pull the neck out with out running warm water. I have a degree in culinary arts. At some point the turkey had to be frozen. There fresh chicken is also often part frozen. Ice crystal form in meat when frozen and when it get defrosted it losses more mosture. Parents got another free fresh turkey 12/21/17 frozen solid this time. For people that plan on Frying it beware you could get severely burned. Otherwise buy early to defrost your "fresh" turkey. I think they really need a new manager of the butchering department. Has bin poor for years now.

Man. I have mixed reviews on this shop rite. Not to be mean, but it's one of the more dirtier ones I've been to. It's small too and compact, and parking lot is packed. Honestly, I don't think I'll be going back there. The layout was very odd too. I'll stick to the one in chews landing. That one was is big with a better layout and much cleaner.

I like shops rite because of the savings, and the check out lines move quickly. Deli moves quickly too. Plus friendly staff.

It's smaller than the one in Mullica Hill, but still nice. I took off a star because I overheard the cashier asking the lady in front of me if she would like to use a coupon for $10 off a $50 or more purchase. When it was my turn, he didn't ask me. Since I heard him, I asked if I could use it. He said, "Oh, you want to use the coupon?" Well yeah... who WOULDN'T want to save $10... duh.

I was extremely disappointed with the selection at the shop ShopRite. There is no self checkout like there are at other shoprites. I recognize that these are each owned by different families but the ShopRite in Glassboro which is owned by the same family has much better selection, is a much larger store, and always has more cashiers available so that lines don't back up. When I went to the ShopRite I was disappointed in general by how long I waited, how little food I was able to get because it didn't have the selection that I needed, really with my overall experience there. To that end I I haven't even been back to the ShopRite since the last time I was there despite it being my closest grocery store.
