Shore Lodge was a real treat. You might think 'it's just lakefront lodging' but it felt like a real getaway. The staff always made us feel like VIPs, and everything was just right. The mini theater was fun and cozy, the fire pit and s'mores an unexpected treat. The room was decorated fashionably, up to date. The restaurant exceed expectations. The location is perfect. Right on the lake but near to downtown attractions.

The rooms were cozy and most of the staff was upbeat and friendly but we had to switch rooms in the middle of our two night stay and they didn't even have our room ready after waiting, without our belongings, for 2 hours. My family had to wait in the lobby, wet from trying to kill the necessary time in a positive way in the pool, because they still didn't have the room ready. There was no apology for their error in the booking or for the inconvenience they put us through. There are great amenities at this hotel but I will think twice before booking there again.

Rooms are super nice. Our room had 2 rooms. TV room and then bedroom. The room kept the spa relaxation feel. The bathroom shower was huge and super inviting. The bath tub was only one person but with a huge shower, who would ever use it. The room service food was really good too but the portions were small. And they deliver drinks. The spa is awesome so if you go dedicate more time than I did to spend there. Surrounding views are great with the mountains background to the lake. I would say the price is high but it's one of the best lodges I've stayed at so they can get away with charging a high price.

Great experience overall. Staff was amazing and always seemed to go above and beyond. More expensive than we're used to but a lot is included. Very cool hotel. Would definitely recommend a lake view room or you'll have a not so great view of the parking lot. Only other negatives were the shower head and toilet which were not designed for someone over 6 ft.

Views were spectacular room was wonderful. We stayed off season, so the rates were very good. They are currently remodeling, so the lobby was a bit dark. Enjoyed the gift shop. Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant in the lodge. It was too cold and windy to use the pool and hot tub, but after seeing it, we wish we had used it in the cold because it was so gorgeous.
