I love to come down here and eat at Philco Diner/Level/Bakersfield/The Eagle, then walk around and do some street photography.

The CBUS Circulator runs through here so you have a convenient way to travel from about 2nd and High Street down to the Convention Center at High and Nationwide Blvd.

Sometimes the beggars can get a little aggressive, but all in all a great place to hang out.   Very close to Goodale Park.
