This is the best place in town for po boys! Great service, great food, awesome family atmosphere. Conveniently located, easy to get to. They have recently added more parking which helps but the crowd can still be a bit overwhelming around lunch. Best roast beef around, i even are it on my wedding day... In my dress! They definitely know what they are doing at this place! My family has eaten here for years and we will continue for years to come!

Been going to Short Stop for years but lately it seems to be getting worse and worse. First, we ordered the half shrimp and oyster poboy and wasn’t made aware it is only offered in the king size until I got there. Then, I got there 10 minutes before the pickup time and when I got there they had just finished wrapping it, got home 2 minutes away and then poboys were ice cold. I don’t understand how it can be ice cold when they just wrapped it. It’s just disappointing having to pay all that money for the too big size we didn’t want to begin with but we ended up throwing it away because it wasn’t even good.

This place is one of the greatest places to get a great po- boy. The gumbo is wonderful and the service is outstanding.

Well it's not the service everything is very good in that department. The food was not what I expected for $25.55. Half of my burger was vegetarian due to the size of the bun , I ordered a 9" but got a bun.  The last thing I have to say is that a cheeseburger usually means burger incased melted cheese not so here. With all that the food was cold and dry. I will stop by 1more time just to see if something else on the menu is better to be fair.

Shortstop has been one of my favorites since high school. I'm retired now and still the poboys! Can't go wrong!
