Shoup Park is a great park in Los Altos. Amenities such as bathrooms are available and seem to be kept clean at all times. Parking is available and plentiful. It has two playground areas - one for 2-5 year olds and the other for older kids. Both playgrounds are close to each other. In the 2-5 year old playground area - there is a sand pit with two diggers that you can play with as well as as a see-saw. There are many seats around the small children playground as well as picnic table. In the older playground, just around the corner, you have higher and taller slides and monkey bars. Shoup Park also boasts a creek nearby and is great for water play. So, bring along your rain boots. Seats and picnic tables line around the walkway. Shoup Park also connects to the Redwood Grove just down the block.

It's a nice and tiny park tucked away off of Foothill. You'll often see folks walking their dogs and children running around. Do note that the parking lot is pretty small and if there's an event at the community center, you will be parking on the street. If you plan on having a picnic here, note that there are LOADS of flies everywhere.

It's too small for hiking or walking here. But kids have much fun with the two playgrounds. I think it's a good place for taking small kids here.

A very good quality playground for running a round has a flowing stream when it rains has water and bathrooms but you should bring your own water bottle.

Shoup park has two playground structures and a grass area. Children also enjoy playing in the dry and creek next to it. Parking is free.
