Shula’s Steak House is located in Shula’s Golf Club in Miami Lakes, Florida and is the original and first of many Shula’s Steak Houses to open across the United States. Dining at Shula’s Steak House is like no other Miami Lakes restaurant experience. This Miami Lakes restaurant is a celebration of the 1972 undefeated season of the Miami Dolphins. Honestly, if it was possible not to give this place any stars, I would. We got to the restaurant and immediately ordered our drinks and what we wanted because we were hungry. Among the items we ordered, there were at least 2 appetizers. That was the first time the server came to our table, the second time he brought our drinks and we asked him if he could bring out some bread or something to hold us over until the food came and he said he would and said that there was a party of 16 holding up the kitchen. Understood, not his fault. Probably 45 minutes later, all of the tables around us were getting their food, no bread was brought out, the server didn't even show face to apologize for how long it was taking. I get it that the kitchen was help up because of the large party but if they're held up, how is it that the other tables are getting their food, or that you can't bring out a simple spinach and artichoke dip, which is an appetizer and should come out before the entrees anyways? or that you can't even bring out bread? The server tried to justify himself by saying that he told us there was a large party- that was his "apology." We ended up getting up and leaving. Huge disappointment, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

We went in for Happy Hour before an event over at the Hard Rock Stadium.

So much football history here at the original Shula's Steak House. The 1972 undefeated Miami Dolphins team has a remarkable shrine in this very traditional restaurant.

For Happy Hour there is a great selection of wines and cocktails, plus some bar bites. 

We had the shrimp and the blue cheese steak fries off of the HH menu, but we ordered mostly off of the regular restaurant menu.

French Onion Soup is just 'okay', we have had better elsewhere.

Grilled Asparagus, Roasted Corn, Bacon Wrapped Grilled Shrimp - all were great.

Our star dish was the entree sized Scallops - they are huge, beautifully prepared, a winner.

The food was mediocre but what made it worse was the service.  I can't emphasize more that the service was horrible and the manager could care less that people complain.  They had no service recover and the manager was an angry little man.  If I could give 0 stars, I would.  Save your money go somewhere else!!!

Great place and great service from   Gelvis at the bar. However the last two times I’ve been there my steak has been over cooked. (Ordered medium and got medium well) Yesterday is probably the last time I go to Shula’s

I ordered a Seafood Buffet over a week and half in advance for my Elderly Mother for Christmas Dinner. The package arrived 3 days Prior but was not what we had ordered at all! We called the next day still 4 days prior to Christmas and asked them to over night or next day the Seafood Buffet we had ordered an paid for for my Mothers Christmas Dinner. They told us they were having problems in their warehouse and could not help us! This is by far the Worst experience I have ever had when ordering a Holiday gift! I would appreciate a FULL Refund for the Inconvenience and failure to provide the proper Order in a timely fashion. A Seafood Dinner is the only thing my 78 Year old Mother had asked for from me, and now she does not have anything but a couple of Steaks with no side dishes. Absolutely Unacceptable!!
