My husband and I went here on a whim the other day and it was the best idea we'd had all weekend. There was a 40 minute wait for a table when we got there (a Saturday at 11am- totally understandable) but the gift shop section was stocked with so many cute things that my husband and I spent the whole wait time looking around. Considering our wait time for a table, our food came out in a decent time as well. And it was SO GOOD. They use fresh bread for their toast. I could have made a breakfast off that toast it was delicious. Every member of the staff with whom we interacted was polite and pleasant. We'll absolutely be going back on our next trip north. Also, they have AMAZING cider donuts.

Atmosphere was very friendly and rustic. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Very clean and the food was absolutely delicious. They even bake their own bread ( I had 2 thick slices of cinnamon raisin ) it was fantastic. My 3 over easy eggs were done to perfection. We had so much to eat that I had to bring 1/2 of it home with me. I recommend it to anyone. Families are welcome.

Really good tasting food, though not a very diverse selection on the menu... best corned beef hash around, but typical Glens Falls prices... that is to say, this place is overpriced. This is a special place, but they must think they're more special than they are to charge what they charge for mediocre portions and slightly above diner quality taste. Friendly service, though I get the sense that established locals and regulars are much more valued clientele. I waited a long time while the wait staff accommodated and conversed at length with rural locals making themselves at home, busting the wait staff's balls, and generally thinking they owned the place. You might like it, but if you aren't upper middle class and a familiar face of Glens Falls, this might not be your place. It's certainly not mine, and I will not be coming back. The diner across the street is a much better value and has much better service, better portions, above average diner quality food. Go there instead if you want to save money and enjoy your stay more.

Came here on a recommendation. The wait was long, however, we went during peek hours and were warned ahead of time that we'd need to wait about an hour. The food was delicious and VERY well priced. Staff was polite and courteous. I'll be visiting again next time I'm in the area.

We used to drive from PA to Montreal every year and we found this place when we needed a bite! What a fantastic place!! We have had every meal here in our travels breakfast, lunch, and dinner and never had a bad meal!! Service was always very good and friendly servers! Plus when we need to stretch our legs we would wander around looking at all the neat stuff they have in gift shop area. The ambiance is so much fun! The Silo is fantastic, probably why it's been in business for so long!
