Great place to take the family. Friendly staff. Lots of stuff to do for the kids. a playground, game room, a nice pool. Been there 3 times now and we will be back next year. relatively handicapped friendly as well. Though if you require to sit down to shower, i suggest you use the showers by the pool, as they have a place to sit in there.

People here are very friendly. The owner, (Ron) is like a friend you've always known. This is a place you'll want to come back to year after year.

This campground is the nicest privately owned campgrounds that we have visited! The owners are welcoming and social. We were greeted with smiles from the time we checked in at the office to after we finished setting up to the social events we attended. This is refreshing because we have been to other privately owned campgrounds and it was like a clique...everyone here, including the permanent campers, were so nice. The camp store is well stocked and the canoe/paddle boat rentals are super reasonable. We were impressed at all the improvements that were made. The sites are very accessible with a fire ring and picnic table at every site. We will definitely be back and recommend Silver Canoe to everyone!

Worse 2 week camping trip ever. The manager is a pathological lier. -I could not get WiFi at any of the tent sites -The pools conveniently closed during the week , and miraculously only is ready for the weekends. -all pets ( but the owners ) have to be leashed ( do as I say not as I do lol) -The fire wood is horrible and is all just bark planks that they pay around $15 for a full truck load. But charge u 5 bucks for like 8 pieces of bark lol. -They fail to tell tent staying folks about bears being around the area cause the owner said it's a friendly bear. ( Remember Timothy Treadwell and his 🐻 friends lol ) -Kids get charged for ping pong balls lol. Nice arcade NOT LOL. -Not to mention them calling the cops on you when you complain about services you pay for yet never receive. Called the police to report me selling guns while I was on vacation camping lol. Been called an azzhole by many but that's not illegal so they accused me of running guns lol. Hopefully the BBB better business bureau fixes their azzes cause the place and facility is beautiful.. The owners and the management is worse than any other place I ever have camped. Please avoid.
