I came here because I had a birthday coupon. What a deal! Free Entree and Dessert, no strings attached. It was wonderful. The waiter was extremely attentive and helpful. They are very good at customizing food to one's tastes and they are very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Lots of great vegan options, including vegan dessert!! HELLO!

I love the Silver Diner.  Not only is there a large selection of dishes on their menu, not only do I love the tiny jukeboxes, but you can a dish that is also healthy for you, cooked with local produce, and potions are huge.
Now, the only thing is sometimes I do feel like the prices are a tad high if you are worried about a budget, and if you have a large family this is likely the place you want to go on holidays or birthdays, not weekly.  The service is always good but there is going to be a waiting line which MAY go out the front door.  And the restrooms will likely be busy.  
This is a great diner with a good atmosphere, clean tables, and plenty of reasons to go there.  It is NOT just the chain either - I have been to a horrible Silver Diner.  THIS place is well managed.  It is also ALWAYS going to be very, very, very crowded and large groups will likely have to wait longer than a single person or a couple who can grab a place at the counter top.
But their breakfasts are to die for and their Reuben sandwiches are on my top five list of all time favorites. And to be honest there are only two sandwiches on that list.  I'm picky about my Reuben sandwiches.

I normally love Silver Diner, but this day they were off the mark. I thought I felt water hit me, and kept looking up. I  couldn't find anything. My mother in law thought I was losing it. Until water hit her! It was condensation from the air conditioning vents! Yep, dripping onto the table! Each time the AC clicked on, it would blow water onto us and the table! Thank goodness we had no food or drinks yet! That's where Legionnaires and Listeria come from!  A very nice young man cleaned our vent, along with a few others...but the manager walked past, and didn't even ask what was going on. To top it off, our soup was very salty, and our bacon cooked beyond recognition! I would have given 1 or 2 stars, if it wasn't for great past visits

Silver Diner is one of our favorite places to eat. Ever since they introduced farm fresh choices you cannot go wrong! The food is just that good!
