We were visiting family in MD from NC. My cousin recommended this place. He was spot on. Great variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner food. Our waitress was not very friendly but the flavor of the food and the atmosphere made up for the service. When we visit again we will definitely return. We highly recommend whether you live in the area or if you are visiting.

Great dining experience had stuff shrimp with mashed potatoes and string beans with chicken melt panini with MD Crab soup ..Staff was attentive , professional , & courteous during a busy Sunday afternoon will definitely return soon such a positive vibe with great food

I ordered the cream of crab and a burger. Burger was very good, but the cream of crab was off the charts! Without a doubt, this was the best I've ever tasted. So much so I had to bring a bowl home for the next night. Excellent. Could go for some right now. Amanda, was our server and she was great at anticipating our needs. All in all a very nice dinner.

The food was delicious,  the place was clean . The waiter was good but what I felt that wasn't good was the waiter complaining about a customer on the floor in front of many other customers.  If I was a manager I would have pulled him into the office and spoken to him about this.  People come in to enjoy the good food and atmosphere not listening to a worker. Complaining about another customer,  that looks bad for the restaurant. Prices were not too bad because you get so much food and price is what it is for the way things are today.

The food in general was good. The omelette was cold and I did not enjoy the taste. The seafood pasta however was awesome, I have no complaints whatsoever. Everything else was good, specially the service. Our waiter called Simon was really friendly and a funny guy. I am more than satisfied with the customer service and the environment was clean, calm and peaceful. I will be bringing my family that’s coming from Colorado here. Great place. Keep it up.

My family and I will forever miss the original family and of course Mr. Louie with his wonderful contributions on every holiday . Mr Louie children grew up right in front of our eyes.  They will be missed dearly and I hope the new owner knows what pressure he will receive from all the silver moon diner regular customers . Ask for Megan and Amanda during the evening and during the daytime ask for Simon, Sonya or Yolanda they have been there for years ! Great servers!

I have never had a bad meal here. My favorite is the Lumberjack, 3 pancake eggs and bacon
