Terrible experience and a ruined date. My wife and I made plans to see a matinee and double checked the time for the film on the Silver Screen Cinema 8 website. The matinee was noted as playing at 4:15. We made arrangements for babysitting, and I even took a few hours off work so we could have a long overdue date. We showed up to the theater only to hear that it wasn't actually showing despite it being displayed prominently on the TV screen with all of their current showings. The ticket salesperson mentioned that they had received several complaints and didn't know if any attempt had been made to remedy the problem, and that the film was shown as being played in theater #9 despite them having only 8 theaters. They indicated that it was a problem with the info being displayed through the computer system; however, the manager told me it was a "projector" problem. Despite what may be the actual problem, our date was ruined and we were only offered slightly discounted tickets for the next showing of that film which didn't start for another 2 1/2 hours (as though any normal person could afford that kind of wasted time). It was our first and likely our last visit to this theater.

The movie showing (theater 7) we were in was horrible. The screen looked like low definition and the sound was off. We complained and they said that theater wad malfunctioning. Based on that I would have given them 1 star. We did complain and they are letting us come back for another showing in a better theater. As for the theater itself it was nice and had the reclining seats my biggest complaint is that the seat in front of you blocked the bottom of the screen. The seats were very comfy.

Upgraded seating is AWESOME! Plus, now offering a popcorn "bucket" that you can purchase & bring back on future visits for cheaper servings & free refills the time.

Basic movie theater. Food is too expensive and stale. The biggest complaint I have is the smell. Either they're trying to save money on air conditioning, or someone sits and watches movies with no shoes and/or socks on. The smell is just awful, especially in the rainy seasons. From what I've heard the owner of this theater and several others is only trying to make money and line his pockets, instead of putting money into it, to make it a comfortable place for entertainment.

The new reclining seats are great. There is plenty of room between the rows of seats for you to go in front of someone.
