I was so excited to go to Silver Spring Mining Company because it looks really cool from the outside, but I was disappointed with my experience here. The food was average at best. The crab pretzel was sub par. Such a let down considering we're in Maryland. When I was here on a Thursday night at 6:30 PM, it was pretty empty. In retrospect, this was a good indicator as to what kind of place this really was. Bottom line: average food, average service, average atmosphere, average prices.

They're one of the only decent bars in the area. It's a nice place to go to watch a baseball game. The tvs in the booth are a neat feature. The food is just alright and the tap list is lacking however.

Well Silver Springs was not how it used to be lack of dedication is what you have to look forward to from this establishment. My family and I came here often until after tonight. Our waiter was training someone and didn't know how to talk to people himself. Asked for medium rare steak and it came out purple. They used to have the best crab dip now it taste like cream cheese and thats about it. And there buy one get one for a penny on domestics doesn't include a brewery in Washington DC. So I hate to give bad reviews but sometimes I can't help it.

Perfectly average spot to grab food. The menu consists of items my grandpa would pick for his own personal menu- super random, specific items that don't go well together. It only works out if you are craving something in particular that they offer. Only worth it for the buy one get one for a penny drink special.

Went for lunch. Very good food, service was okay, but they forgot our silverware and the waitress didn't come make sure the food came out okay. Which it did, but we had to wait for someone to come by to ask for utensils. I imagine this is less of an issue for the dinner crowd or at busier times.
