Was a student of the school but is now moving elsewhere. This school made me feel unwelcome and unhappy, mainly because of the education system. In every class, besides Science and PE, I never learned or understood anything "taught." The teachers were nice but never taught anything, I've even had this conversation with friends and they agree with me. During finals week was when I was the most stressed out because I didn't understand anything at all from my classes. Keep in mind that I've always been a straight-A student except this year. I finally went online and understood 8 math lessons in under 45 minutes. That's sad because for one lesson taught online was easier and quicker to learn than a 50 minute class. Some teachers were accused of drugs and students would later on be questioned. Half of the students were doing, selling, or buying drugs on campus and the majority of the students were having sex on the third floor, the bathrooms, or under the bleachers. I played softball and quickly regretted it. Was never motivated and was always unhappy. The girls made me feel bad and lowered my self confidence. I'm not saying this is how all the sports are but this is just how I felt. I never had friends and the girls and the way I was treated made me not want to play softball again. I know some students, including myself, who are vegetarian or vegan and they never had options like the others. I feel like the school should support food choices for the kids who don't eat certain foods. It was unhealthy to only eat chips and drink soda through the year. I considered never showing up to school or ditching classes because I felt like I had nothing to miss out on. Some kids still continue to disobey teachers, other students, and the policies. Every week there was a fight breaking out or rumors being spread. This school did get better through the years but there is still lots happening like before. I will say that the school has some good sport faculties but that's about it. If you want to have a good education and get somewhere in life then I recommend you go somewhere else.

My son is been here one week, employee name Rachel in the attendance is very unprofessional, she was in a rush and didn't wanted to help me and my son the correct way. To transfer him out , She made us feel mainly unwelcome to the high school. And this school don't have manners. Very bad employee. Waited over 2 hours . I ask the gentleman to call the vice principal, he didn't do it... this is a cheap crappy school..

Amazing school and faculty. Students have so much support from faculty and staff. School is composed of very helpful and passionate staff that go above and beyond for students. The support system is phenomenal. Parents are kept in the loop about how students are doing and correspondence is prompt. Not ALL teachers are perfect but the vast majority of those that I have encountered are amazing. Switching classes are not a problem in the event there is not a good fit. The Family Engagement Center has very helpful events and doors are always open for parents to be involved. The principal is dedicated and passionate about the happiness and success of our students.
