I've been going here for about 25 years now, I've watched it grow from a tiny little grocery store with wood floors to what it is today, and I've come to know many of the ladies that work there as part of my extended family. I really hate shopping and Simerly's make it really easy for me to get everything I need all in one stop... And only a few blocks from. I her all of my shoes there, I've gotten a few coats, several shirts, anything we need for camping, and of course groceries. I love Simerly's and people working there, they know me by name, watched my kids grow up, ask about my grandbabies, they are so kind and helpful. I've often told my husband that we couldn't leave Wendell even if we wanted to because that would mean leaving Simerly's too, and I have no desire to frequent a store where I know no one and they don't know me...I would feel so lost without the connection, it just wouldn't be home.

Very dirty and underkept, the pictures in these comments don't show the holes in the roof with insulation coming out or the lights in the ceiling with water in them (one area is above the produce that isn't covered), the prices are not as good as anyone is saying they're outrageous, the only place worth going is the sporting good area, the lady that runs it is not only rude and disrespectful to her employees (in front of customers) she is very discriminatory. Obviously only friends and family have rated this cause most people around here would tell you to go to Jerome to Wal-Mart i would, DO NOT SHOP HERE if you can help it.

Good place to shop. It carries almost everything a person needs from groceies to clothing to sporting goods.

Good store. They had a good selection of what you would need. We even found organic options in multiple isles.
