Update: The owner called me and was willing to try to do what she could to make things right. She and I even had a long discussion about my experience, and she told me she would have a staff meeting and discussus with her employees what could be fixed.

They pride themselves in being female owned.... However, they seem to have lost the female tact. They continued to say "the body" and openely complained about a past employee. 

Even the phrases they were using made me confused if the employee died or retired. 

I wouldn't recommend them. I put two stars because they are cheap. That's it.

Wonderful!  As One of the  truly Original  Female Owned Funeral Home Services in  Carmichael and the Sacramento Region for 20+ years!  They assist The Families  with Utmost Care and Kindness during the Hardest Time anyone has to Go through! As a former Staff Member I can speak TRUTH to My comments. Even 10 years after I've been Away I still run across the Familie's  that I  helped when I  was Working @Simpke Traditions. 😀☺

Today my mother in law was cremated. We used simple traditions services and all I can say is we give Nancy an A++++ for her caring and compassionate nature. From the moment we met her she was on top of everything. She expedited things and was on the ball. No pressure, or sales tactics. Nancy you were amazing ! You were so supportive and through this very hard time for us, your caring nature and taking control of all the paperwork put us at such ease. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
