Today I was lucky enough to wander into Simply Salad. There are so many healthy and tasty options here. And the prices are so much more reasonable than most of the healthy options in Santa Monica. I ordered the El Jefe salad and it was great. The salmon was delicious, vegetables fresh and the dressing was top notch flavorful. The staff work really hard preparing so many delicious salads and they are real professionals.
First time trying Simply Salad and I must say I LOVED IT. Put a little dressing in my bowl cut up my salmon put on the lid and gave it a good shake. YUMMIE!!! Pictured is the El Jefe salad with cilantro lime vinaigrette. Highly recommend!
Quick, healthy lunch spot that’s right off the Third St Promenade offering fresh wraps and salads. They’re available on Ritual so I’ve so far just ordered ahead using the app because the line during lunch gets ridiculously long. The menu is straightforward, which I appreciate, and they do take credit card. There’s indoor seating and a couple of outdoor seating options. My favorite salad to get is the Downtown Cobb because it had bacon and try as I might, I can never quite wean myself off such a delectable addition. I get medium dressing which some might find a little too light, but I find it to be the right amount to coat the salad. Salads also come with a little price of bread for free. For the wraps I like the Thai It Up chicken and I get it with the Thai peanut dressing although apparently the Sriracha is supposed to be a solid choice as well. It’s a colorful mix of red bell peppers, peanuts, fresh lettuce, and some crunchy bits wrapped in whole wheat wrap. My one complaint is that it wasn’t wrapped tightly enough when I went and so it fell apart towards the end as I ate it. Overall a solid choice for lunch if you want a healthy lunch.
This place has been my new go-to. My salads are always so fresh, and so delicious! Today they were playing Lana back to back, 10/10 recommend.
Love that I can customize my salad, I don't like the greens lettuce, kale etc.. that somewhere else you are force to choose as a base.. here I can have a wonderful salad with the ingredients I love!! Simply salad you rock! Staff is awesome, kind and welcoming.
This is one my favorite places in Santa Monica until today.I went there and the women was short and rushing me then after I order she said they were closing.I asked her if I can finished my salad sitting outside,she said yes.Five minutes before I was finishing my salad she actually threw me out saying they were tired and wanted me to leave.I was almost finished but she did not let me finished.These two ladies at the end of the day Saturday were very rude.""Owners please hired people with manners and welcoming attitudes".
This salad place is the best. I love it. Everything was chopped up and it made it easy to eat it. I needed more ranch the guy that was serving us made it so much better. Keep it up
It is a great place for salad people and is pretty cheap. The only complain i have is that patrons of restaurants like this tend to be more environmentally conscious. The fact that they use so much disposable and plastic even for dine in options doesn't really fit their healthy image. my suggestion for them is to improve that aspect of their business as well.
They were out of soup so one of the employees refunded it and threw in some free chili and chips along with writing an apology. A refund would have been enough but it was so above and beyond I had to give a review. The salads are always great here. I order regularly and the staff are adorably sweet.
Simply Salad is an excellent salad preparation restaurant where they have many different salad ingredients for toppings. With a vast selection of fresh ingredients and all the different types of lettuce their menu prices are affordable and reasonable. Build your own or choose a specialty made salad on the menu. The average price varies between $7.00-$15.00 depending on what all you put on it and it's made fresh right in front if you from cutting the lettuce, mixing in the dressing to your favorite toppings. Simply Salad is easy to find, easy to get through with public parking garage just down the street. It's clean, has indoor and outdoor style seating that can hold around 20 people inside and 20 people outside if you like the outdoors. The staff are friendly and professional. It's wheelchair accessible, bathroom also and right at the heart of downtown walking distance from the beach. Out of all the restaurants in Santa Monica to get salad, Simply Salad is the very best salad and the freshest. Simply Salad is my No# 1 salad of choice in Santa Monica. Add Simply Salad to your route during your vacation for lunch and enjoy your visit of Santa Monica's Simply Salad.
