All I can say is wow this place had the best sandwich I’ve ever tried. I really enjoyed the customer service. And they had the best Chipotle chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I typically don’t write reviews, but my experience from this place deserves 6 stars. Highly recommend anyone in Santa Monica to try this place out. It’s a way upgraded version of Subway.

Coming from the east coast I must say, this sub is great. The bread is just right. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the storefront and the owner, Ben is wonderful!

I almost forgot to give a review about this place. The best Sub in town. I am telling you, their subs is better than Subway and Jersey Mikes. I tried their BBQ chicken and Chicken Carbonara on 12” White Bread. It is lit !  Try their Subs and you won’t regret it

WhatSub is my favorite place to eat for lunch. I love to come here and order the roast beef it never disappoints. It looks great and even taste better. Great customer service and always fast delivery when I order online. Super easy to order on Uber eats and has my food delivered ASAP. Definitely recommend this place and will be going back and trying other things on there Menus.

The staff is friendly but the food is overpriced! Went with my coworkers - $70 for 3 subs, 3 bags of chips, 3 small drinks. Talk about highway robbery. The quality wasn't even that good. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Amazing highly recomended. We had WhatSub make platter for our birthday party. Amazing job. Very friendly staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.

First off! The service was amazing. The man behind the counter was very nice BUT… this place has MANY flaws: 1. Stingy with everything! For example: who puts two tomato slices on a 12inch sub? The man literally cut those two slices to make 4 pieces and two pieces of bacon slices for the entire sub then tried to cut brown lettuce. I had to refuse the lettuce until he cut all the bad pieces off. 2. The bread was not fresh. Wouldn’t even consider it day old bread. 3. The facility is not very clean, flies were everywhere. The man has to swat them away multiple times. 4. The slices of meat are so thin you cold read a news paper. 5. The sub all around was “ok” for being Boarshead deli meats 6. Finally, watch the man at check out. He didn’t charge me what was listed. He made up his own prices. $60 for 2 8inch subs and 2 12inch subs. I regretted not going to Jersey Mike’s but wanted to give a local spot a try.     Needless to say my family will not be coming back to this place.

Whatsub is my favorite spot to eat at for lunch. I always order the Classic Pastrami or when feeling healthier order a Tuna Salad both amazing. I live near by so I usually get my order delivered and they are super fast with delivery. Must try this spot you will love the staff. When I go to the restaurant, I always look forward to there helpful service and food.

Overwhelmingly underwhelmed!  Seriously, my turkey club was almost tasteless except for the honey mustard.  Okay serving of turkey but the bacon and cheese we're missing in the flavor profile.  The chicken noodle soup was good though.  Never eating here again.
