I'm really glad that Sioux City has something this nice to offer to the public. They change their exhibits quite often so just because you went once doesn't mean you never need to go back again. If you wait 1 to 3 months you will see they really bring some unique fun exhibits to this museum location. Such as years ago they had a great Jackson Pollack painting and popular themes for kids quite often as well. Check it out, you will enjoy the day. Fun restaurants downtown to go afterwards too.

We went to the museum for a special workshop for younger kids and it was great. The kids loved doing all the projects and visiting the museum as well. They loved the log cabin. A great place to bring kids to learn and explore.

This place captures so much of my memories of Sioux City. I took my fiance there and every exhibit innitiated another story. I imagine that many Siouxlanders feel that same nostalgia touring the museum, and many others get a sence of the city's rich history.

A wonderful place with so much to see and learn I highly recommended this place!

This museum was very hands on and showed many interesting and uneak things. The museum was children friendly, it had a gift shop and a theater that showed the history of Sioux City Iowa and how it became what we know today. It showed many old and historical pieces. There were many wonderful paintings and cute puzzles that the kids could interact with.
