Sissel has an encyclopedic knowledge of the hundreds of pieces of original jewelry in her shop, including the artist and story behind the piece.  We found her to be a natural gem in the heart of hundreds of shops and HIGHLY recommend her.  We will be back!

I recently visited Santa Fe and was told by a fellow Texan to visit Sissel's that she was affordable and very pleasant, my friends and I met her and she was very personable and professional took time showing all that I wanted to see therefore I purchased several pieces of jewelry she even has a great plan buy now pay later and will ship anywhere for small postage fee, I recommend this shop to everyone❣

I first met Sissal in 2001...her shop was in a motel side lobby on Cerillios Road.  I immediately knew this was the real deal for me.  Her selection was superb and displayed beautifully, and her prices were reasonable.  In a subsequent visit to Santa Fe, I went to that motel and was so disappointed to not find her there.  Later that day, I found her in a new and bigger space closer to town.....and then again, followed her to her current space on SanFrancisco Street. 
I own a fantastic collection, put together over the years, all purchased from this lovely and knowledgable woman.  She has given me advice about caring for my pieces and has always gone above and beyond in regard to "customer service".   I make frequent trips to Santa Fe to visit family and never come home without a new treasure.  
Sissal's is my go-to place for special gifts and keepsakes.  You will not be disappointed.  She is professional, caring and offers a good deal on unique, genuine Native American handcrafted jewelry.

Sissel's variety of Native American jewelry is absolutely impressive, and that's an understatement. Many different price ranges. Good quality. She can usually tell you the exact artist that made each piece. Last time in Santa Fe, I drove straight to her shop before checking into my hotel or going anywhere else. I bought a beautiful silver & turquoise bangle bracelet from her, which I later saw on the plaza priced at over 50% more than I'd paid. The items she sells are the 'real deal' bought straight from the artists.

We spent 4 days in Santa Fe and found only lovely, friendly, nice people, but when we went in this shop, we were shocked at how rudely we were treated.  I nicely asked if all the jewelry was native to the area.  We like to buy things for local artisans and, as we walked in the store, I noticed a necklace displayed that I had purchased in Mexico, .  She said yes it was all from locals.  I then asked about the necklace, saying maybe it had been copied.  Well....that set her off!!  She told me that I was rude to even question her and that she was greatly offended that I even ask.  My husband and I were shocked and turned to walk out of the store, with her badgering us all the way.  This was so rude of her!!  I suggest that people watch what they say.....no matter how nice...to the owner of this shop!!!
