There's alot of confederate flags flown here. Get over it! You lost the war. The south will not rise again.

I went into Six Corners just to browse around. From the moment I walked in the door, one of the employees was following me. Despite how uncomfortable he made me feel, I continued to shop around for a while longer. After leaving the store without buying anything, the owner stormed outside and shouted to me “empty all of your pockets”. Asking him “Why?”, he claimed the employee who was following me around saw me put something in my coat pocket (I was actually just scratching an itch, making it look like I had put something in my pocket). After showing him there was nothing in my pockets--save for my wallet and car keys--the owner went back inside without so much as an apology. Normally I wouldn’t jump to conclusions and call out racial profiling, but at Six Corners, I’m convinced racial profiling is a store policy. There was only one other customer in the store that day: a Caucasian male. Yet, I, a Hispanic, was the only one being followed around. It doesn’t help Six Corners’ case either considering that anyone who walks into the store is greeted by a giant Confederate flag. Oh, and did I mention the owner’s personal antiques collection (i.e. the items not for sale but just for display) includes various Nazi memorabilia? It’s backwoods mannerisms like this that give local Livingston businesses--and residents--a bad name. So good job, Six Corners, on making us all look like ignorant fools.
