I wish I could rate your store with negative stars, but I guess one star will have to do. On May 1 2017 I went to this store to purchase shoes using a reward coupon that I received because of a customer loyalty program, when I tried to redeem the coupon for my purchase I was told by the manager that it was not valid, the manager told me to contact customer service to find out the problem and to handle this matter on my own, after asking her to help me with this matter many many time, and the store was empty of customers, she reluctantly called customer service, but ended the transaction by informing me I still needed to contact customer service myself to handle the issue, the manager would not change her stance on this matter. I asked for the district managers information so that I could see talk to someone above the store manager, this was provided. After contacting the district manager, he made it sound like he was on my side and this matter should not have gone the direction that it did. I was offered by the district manager a gift card to smooth over this matter, I accepted his olive branch and said I would give the his store and his company another chance. I did so and my valid reward coupon which was honored and I spent and additional $80 over the $95 reward coupon that I had. Now its June and I have not received the gift card that the district manager had promised, I have contacted him a number of times, and was told that I should have received the card already, and he would look into the matter again, same story every time I contacted him and the last time I contacted him about this matter, I this matter was going to be forwarded to a regional manager ( or someone above him ) and I would be contacted by him or her, that hasn't happened yet. I'm a very disappointed customer. and at this time I'm not planning on spending anymore of my money with Skechers at any store or outlet or online. I guess this is the way retail is now days, no wonder so many company's are going out of business. I have never this kind of negative transaction, or have had so many promises made and nothing has been received.
