The AAECWM presents The African American experience to unite & empower people to maximize their cultural,social,academic & economic development.

Story

The Museum is a provacative and courageous place, tackling one of the most controversial eras in history. It focuses on the history of Ancient Africa, Enslavement, and The Civil War through displays, discussions, and programs. The museum also give visitors the chance to talk about the effects of slavery at the end of the tour & on our social media pages, after they return home.

Mission

The Ancient Africa Enslavement & Civil War Museum was developed to educate and uplift schools, communities and people of all ages and races by presenting and interpreting the history of African people from antiquity through slavery and the Civil War in positive and creative ways.
