Unwelcomed with not 1, not 2, but 3 Confederate flags; not only a large one across a resident trailer at the main entrance to the campgrounds, but on the campsite street sign and flying on a stick inside the registration office as well. We received 5-minute "stares" from residents, without so much as a returned head nod, smile or wave, although must give credit that one family was nice. First campsite my wife and I have ever left without staying the night. Deliverance incarnate.

There are 64 sites here. Lots of trees. There is a laundry facility, clean rest rooms. The pool doesn't open till May. There is a lake. They have picnic tables at all sites. There is a train close but we weren't awaken by it. Only been here a day. There is not anything to do. I would advise if you have children being things to do. Our site is all gravel no grass. The owner and people here are very, very nice.

I loved staying in the cabin. It was a nice get a way for me and the hubby. We didn't catch very many fish, but I wouldn't give anything for the relaxation and quality time we had together.
