I moved back to the central coast after decades away. When looking for a new dentist I knew this was where I wanted to go. Everything about this office makes you feel like you are being cared for as family. With a caring staff, dentists with years of experience but also the latest up-to-date tools and sensitive to your needs, they make sure you are educated and at ease about your dental health. A wonderful experience all the way around.

I highly recommend SLO Smiles! Dr Main has successfully saved several of my teeth that other dentists wanted to extract. Maria gently and thoroughly cleans my very sensitive teeth, taking away my previous dread of cleanings. The office strives to be on the  "cutting edge" with current knowledge and equipment. I can not say enough good things about Dr Ian Leopold and every person I have come in contact with in his office. I am that person that has struggled with a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist since I was a child. A couple years ago when my daughter chipped her tooth I called around looking to get her in right away to get it fixed. Hands down SLO Smiles was the friendliest and easiest to work with. After meeting Ian and watching him work on my daughter I was so impressed. After years of not going because of my fears, I thought I would give it a try.  From the girls at the front desk to the hygienist ( Robyn/Michelle) to the clinical team ( Gena) and of course Ian, everyone made me feel so at ease. I also must say the work my daughter and myself have had done has been flawless and quality work. Not to mention painless. I never thought I would be able to overcome my fears about the dentist, I am truly grateful to SLO Smiles for making this happen for me. For anyone who is thinking its been to long and they should give it a try I highly recommend going to SLO Smiles. I could give a hundred more reasons to go, but the most important reason is that your smile is worth it. :) Thank you SLO Smiles!

Went in very nervous.  Really don’t like the dentist experience.  Tiki put me at ease with her gentle touch and wonderful positive attitude.  She talked with me and relaxed me.
Dr Murphy’s bedside manner was exceptional.
He explained everything he was doing while he examined my mouth.
Have been going to Dr Murphy for over 20 years.

Been going to these guys for over 25 years and am obviously satisfied.  Everyone is personable and caring, like a family, but also very professional.  And of course the work by the dentists and hygienists is spot on.  Dr. Murphy and Maria are the best, as is Lynn at the front desk!
