We popped in after having our nails done next door. The service was friendly. They were out of a fee types, but I was given information about them which made me interested to go back and try them. The ice cream is made in house! We purchased a scoop of the Biscoff cookie butter - YUM. My only thought was there should bee some crumble to place on too because of course the cookie mixed in is softened. But it was creamy with notes of vanilla and caramel. Will definitely go back to try the caramel crunch and lemon drop cakes, and some of the other ice creams!
My Husband and I decided we would give this place a try after tasting samples cakes at a business expo. When we first walked into the store we were greet by the young ladies behind the counter. There was dead silence, no suggestions or assistance in making choices. They both just stared at us until we made a decision. I was looking at the ice cream. No offer to sample or suggestions made. We purchase 4 cupcakes. Red velvet, cookies and cream, chocoholic and crunchy salted caramel. The pretzel on top of cupcakes was stale and had no crunch. The chocoholic cupcakes wasn’t impressive. The Red velvet was not good at all. The red food coloring was spotty. Some parts brown and some parts were red. Overall the cupcakes were not good. The cupcakes did not taste fresh. They taste few days old. We are not impressed.
Some of the best cupcakes ever and we love every one of them ,the cupcakes and restaurant was fresh,clean, and they gave us info on all the best , always on top 10/10 highly recommend
I just had the best experience at Small Cakes Shreveport. Jonah was so kind and helpful. I will be buying from Small Cakes Shreveport again for sure. The customer service was outstanding and the cupcakes are amazing.
The cupcakes were really moist but were lacking flavor, the wedding cake cupcake did not have any almond extract. I have visited the small cake location in Gonzales, Baton Rouge, and Houston. This location was the worst and is not worth the price. The cashier was friendly.
This new ownership & management is where is at!! Best thing this location could've done to turn this place around with new baker's and new & better flavor options!! The proof is in the pudding, in this case, in the frosting! Perfecto!!
I used to come by this place often. Last time their card machine was down and the time before that. I understand things like this happen. Today, months later, their machine is down again and only taking cash. The customer service can be sketch sometimes. Just an odd feeling. So, they have missed sales with me several times. I don't know of any businesses who turn away sales like that over a time frame like that. Im in the medical field and often want to get many cupcakes for my fellow nurses. I don't carry adequate cash to cover that. Thankfully, this is not the only cupcake shop in town.
Best cupcakes in Shreveport-Bossier. They are so good I ate one in the car and had to come right back in to get another one!
One of THE BEST cupcake and creamery shops in North Louisiana!! The staff and management are simply AMAZING! Definitely a 5 STAR experience!! Visit them today, you won’t be disappointed!!!
Generic over priced cupcakes just dressed up. Hardly better than walmart, definitely gonna stick with Buttercups Cupcakes for sure.
