At 63 years old, let’s face it ladies, it’s hard to “feel pretty” anymore. But…that’s exactly what Mescha at SmartStyle in Muncie did for me. Three years ago, after bariatric surgery, my protein count plummeted and my hair fell out. When it grew back, it was of a different texture and I no longer knew how to handle or style it. And after losing over 100 pounds, my once chubby face, was now thin. I now had hair I could no longer manage and to top it all off my now thin face no longer seemed “comfortable” with the hair styles I was accustomed to. Enter Mescha of SmartSyle in Muncie who not only recommended a style for me but also the absolutely perfect color. She explained to me how to handle a cowlick I have in the back of my head and took the time to show me how to apply the two products she used and recommended for me during my style. She was pleasant and very kind. When I asked her for her advice on color and style, without hesitation she told me exactly what she thought would look good on me…and she was right. Mescha also understood that although I was 63 years old, I didn’t want an “old ladies” hairstyle. The color she gave me was bright, pretty, and vital and the style…well, her words, “sassy. I wanted to purchase both of the products, a root pump and a texturizer, used during my style, however, one was on sale while the other wasn’t. Without my asking, Mescha found a similar sale product to replace the other. Let’s just say I was stepping lightly when I left with a smile on my face.

Rude, refused to do a cut and perm 2 hours before they close. How long does it take to do a perm and what kind of customer service is that called. Walk ins.. haha what a joke!
